CoMotion Supremo - Coupled w/ Cases

This is a one-of-a-kind Supremo purchased as a frameset with Co-Motion Wound-Up carbon fork, FSA SL-K carbon MegaExo tandem cranksets with 172.5 and 170 cranks and matching bottom brackets, 48, 39, and 30T chain rings, Rolf Vigor Campy tandem wheelset with Avid rear disc brake, and Wound-Up carbon captain seat post. This was built into a complete tandem by Velo-City Cycles in Holland, MI adding the following Campagnolo Record equipment: 10 speed Ergoshifters, pedals, front and rear triple derailleurs, front brakeset, cables, 10 speed titanium cassette, 10 speed chain, Ergo Brain. Other equipment included a Chris King headset, Easton EC90 carbon bars and captain stem, dummy stoker levers, USE stoker seat post, Terry men’s and women’s seat, Profile Design carbon bottle cages, Blackburn frame pump, and Schwalbe Stelvio Plus 25/700 tires. The tandem weighs 38lbs, incredibly light and fast. Two Co-Motion padded cases were also purchased which easily packs the tandem, helmets, and other items for air travel. We made two long air trips to New Zealand and Arizona with no issues. The frame was custom sized for the captain (5’10” and 32” inside leg) and stoker (5’3”). Stand-over heights are 30.5” and 27.5” respectively at the bottom bracket locations. The frame is painted in a three-color fade with House of Kolor Nos 42 (True Blue Pearl) front, 39 (Passion Pearl) center, and 37 (Magenta Pearl Rear). The frame was internally protected from new. 3M film was added to vulnerable areas such as the top tubes. The tandem was regularly maintained by Velo-City Cycles and a local shop and has not been ridden since its last inspection, lubrication, tune-up and new bar tape. Exact mileage is not known but certainly less than 5,000 miles. A selection of spares including a partial spoke set will be included.

Asking price is $6200.

Tandem is located near Kalamazoo, MI and delivery can be arranged within the Lower Peninsula of Michigan or I can pack the bike into the cases for shipping and deliver it anywhere in the world (at the buyer’s expense for shipping and insurance).
